Day-wise Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in Coimbatore and drive to Ooty
Arrive at Coimbatore Airport or Railway Station and meet your Franklin Destinations representative. Begin the drive to Ooty, about 85 km through the Nilgiri hills.
Enjoy the scenic ghat road with its hairpin bends and viewpoints. On arrival, check in to your hotel and let the family settle in.
Spend the evening at leisure around the hotel or the local market.

Day 2 – Ooty sightseeing

Best Time to Visit Ooty
Ooty is pleasant throughout the year, and the right time depends on what the family enjoys.
April to June is the main summer holiday season, with comfortable weather and the flower show at the Botanical Garden in May. This is the busiest period, so hotels and vehicles should be booked early.
September to March brings cooler weather and fewer crowds. December and January can get quite cold in the early mornings and evenings, so carry warm clothing for children and elders.
During the monsoon months, the hills turn green and quiet, though rain can affect outdoor sightseeing and ghat road travel.
