Best Time to Visit Himachal
March to June brings pleasant weather and is the most popular period. Snow can still be seen at Solang and Rohtang in early spring.
September to November is clear, quiet and ideal for walking and photography, with fewer travellers on the trails.
December to February is cold, with snowfall in Manali and the higher valleys. Some roads and passes may close during heavy snow.
July and August is the monsoon period. Landslides and road blocks are possible in the hills, so travel plans need extra buffer time during these months.
